Anna brings to Anavo more than 20 years of experience in small molecule drug discovery and early development. She has a successful track record in the design of several clinical candidates and their progression from discovery through clinical development. Through various positions in pharma, within Serono and Merck KGAa, and in biotechnology, within Asceneuron and Draupnir Bio, she has experience with a wide diversity of drug targets, modalities and therapeutic areas. Anna obtained her PhD and MS in organic synthesis and organometallic chemistry at University of Geneva, Switzerland. She is the inventor of 49 patents and the author of 21 peer-reviewed publications.
